Megan Mullally to Guest Star on “Up All Night”

Maya Rudolph is about to meet her match.Megan Mullally, who’s a former star of “Will & Grace,” has been tapped to guest star on NBC’s charming new comedy “Up All Night.”
The actress will appear in one episode, playing the role of Shayna Mund, a talkshow host just like Rudolph’s character, Ava.
Once a protégé of the Ava show, Shayna is now a rival for Ava. She’s determined to beat her former mentors at their own game, even if it means stealing Ava’s show ideas.
Before her upcoming gig alongside Christina Applegate, Mullally also was just cast as a series regular on Fox’s “Breaking In,” set to resume production in January.
She also guest starred this season as Penny’s mom on “Happy Endings” and Ron Swanson’s (Nick Offerman) ex-wife on “Parks and Recreation.”
”Up All Night” airs Wednesdays on NBC, meanwhile Mullally’s episode is set to air sometime after the holidays.
